• Cork, Fork & Brews Continues to fund Scholarship Program

    Cork Fork & Brews in its third year raised over $90,000 for the Boys & Girls Club ensuring that scholarships continue for kids who need the Club most. The sold out event featured over 20 restaurants, wineries and brewers. Participants made their way across the ballroom at Capitol Plaza Hotel sampling the signature dishes and beverages from local chefs, brew masters and wine makers.

  • Boys & Girls Club Cheer On the Blue Tigers

      Thanks to a grant from Buffalo Wild Wings, Boys & Girls Club kicked off the school year with a cheerleading program. Members of the BGC Teen Center participate on the BGC All Star Cheer Squad. The group of girls receive coaching and mentorship from the Lincoln University Cheerleaders.

  • Boys & Girls Club Light the Way Home Campaign Halfway to its Goal

    The Boys & Girls Club is scheduled to launch the “public phase” of its capital campaign on March 2. Volunteers have been working behind the scenes to raise donations during the “silent phase.” Co-Chairs Dan Westhues and Donna Westhues are excited to report over $1.1M has been pledged towards the goal of $2.2M during the first 2 months of the campaign. The remaining donations will be secured from local donations as well as foundations located outside of Jefferson City.

  • Boys & Girls Club launches the Light the Way Home Capital Campaign

       Boys & Girls Club launched its Capital Campaign, Light the Way Home, on Monday, November 17, 2014. The club’s goal is to raise $2.2 million to build a new two-story facility on Lincoln University’s campus. This facility will house elementary children on the main level and a teen center on the lower level.
